Yuan Guangming’s lens world is both a true representation and a surpassing of reality. His method of straight line shooting of steel cables presents a non-everyday way of viewing the environment. “The Landscape of Energy,” a high-altitude aerial home-turned-off residential site, an empty primary school campus, a deserted playground, beaches full of tourists and a nuclear power station near the beach. The message described in this space collage is clear. The ruins of Taiwan’s “Mosquito Museum” and the anti-nuclear issue of “nuclear power zeroing” are just around us, just like the monorail filming of the movie, making the real situation
