Lepidopteran insects make up a large proportion of agricultural pests and their pheromones are generally linear aliphatic mono- or polyglucosols and their acetates or aldehydes. The synthesis methods are Wittig reaction, acetyl route, organic copper and lithium reagents. The key step is to control the cis-trans isomerization ratio. Attempts have been made to synthesize the cis-structural insect pheromone component with Wittig reaction with high selectivity, followed by isomerization to obtain the trans-pheromone component, but the yield
