利用耦合模理论分析了双芯光纤(TCF)的耦合特性与其结构参数的关系。结果表明,不同结构双芯光纤可能具有相同的耦合特性,从而可以根据实际应用对双芯光纤参数进行优化。同时提出一种改进型的双芯光纤制作工艺,采用化学气相沉积(MCVD)和光子晶体堆积工艺制作出均匀性良好的双芯光纤并对其参数进行了测量。
The coupling mode theory is used to analyze the relationship between the coupling properties of two-core fiber (TCF) and its structural parameters. The results show that different configurations of dual-core fibers may have the same coupling characteristics, so that the parameters of the dual-core fibers can be optimized according to practical applications. At the same time, an improved dual-core optical fiber manufacturing process is proposed. The dual-core optical fiber with good uniformity is fabricated by CVD and photonic crystal deposition process and its parameters are measured.
