近年来,矿井开采的经验明表,高生产效率的采煤机和综采机械的使用,使回采工作面的产量大幅增长,因而导至巷道沼气涌出量的增加,在瓦斯涌出量大、瓦斯构成复杂的矿井中,只有在某均有效的瓦斯抽放方法和保证按瓦斯源来分别稀释沼气的合理的通风系统时,才能使回采工作面达到高产量。 在苏联矿井中,广泛采用开采层本层和邻近层的瓦斯抽放方法。。在拉式采煤法的采区里,当有足够的瓦斯抽放时间时,开采层本居的瓦斯抽放方法才是有效的。该方法及其效率列表于1。
