本文详细阐述了通海地震中人员伤亡的空间分布，对人员伤亡率与房屋倒塌率及地震裂度的关系进行了分析。同时讨论了影响人员伤亡的几种主要因素，给出了人员伤亡率与房屋倒塌率及地震烈度的经验关系。认为地震主要伤亡区的分布受发震构造的控制，而建筑类型、地形地貌是影响人员伤亡的主要因素。
This article elaborates the spatial distribution of casualties in the Tonghai earthquake and analyzes the relationship between the casualty rate and the rate of house collapse and earthquake rupture. At the same time, several main factors which affect the casualties are discussed, and the empirical relationship between the rate of house injury and the rate of house collapse and earthquake intensity is given. It is considered that the distribution of the major casualties in the earthquake is controlled by the seismogenic structure, while the type of construction and topography are the main factors affecting the casualties.
