现在研究语文单元教学,追根溯源,总要提到梁启超。这是不错的。因为梁氏在二十年代初,就曾提出,语文科教学生读文章,不宜一篇一篇孤立地教,而应一组一组比较着教。这“一组一组地教”的主张,可以看作是实施单元教学的滥觞。不过,梁氏自己事后并未实际从教,所以究竟怎样“一组一组地教”,并没有留下多少实绩。这不能不说是一大遗憾。近读二十年代大夏大学出版的《大夏季刊》,发现该校国文教授陈柱在1928年却把梁氏的主张认真地付诸实施了,并取得了可喜的成果。陈柱何许人
Now studying the teaching of Chinese as a unit and tracing the source, we must always mention Liang Qichao. This is good. Because Liang had proposed in the early twentieth century that language teaching students should read articles, it is not appropriate to teach them in isolation, but rather to teach one group at a time. This “group of teaching” proposition, can be seen as the beginning of the implementation of unit teaching. However, Liang himself did not actually teach afterwards. Therefore, how to “teach one by one” does not leave much merit. This cannot but be said to be a great pity. After reading the “Great Summer Issue” published by Daxia University in the 1920s, it was found that Chen Zhu, a professor of Chinese language in his school, seriously implemented Liang’s proposal in 1928, and achieved gratifying results. Chen Zhu and others
