Objective: To analyze and study the risk factors affecting the incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and postpartum diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Methods: From January 2010 to June 2010, 50 pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus who were admitted to our hospital from January 2010 to June 2010 were enrolled in this study. The observation group was selected as the observation group, and the non-gestational diabetes mellitus 50 Cases of control group, analysis and comparison of two groups of patients before pregnancy body mass index (BMI), family history of diabetes, gestational age pregnant women with first trimester pregnancy, and closely observe the incidence of postpartum diabetes. Results: According to the comparison of two groups, pre-pregnancy BMI, family history of diabetes and advanced pregnancy were the risk factors of gestational diabetes mellitus. 100 patients were followed up for 3 years, 46 cases of postpartum diabetes, the incidence rate was 46.0%, of which the observation group postpartum diabetes The incidence of postpartum diabetes in observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (P <0.05). The incidence of postpartum diabetes in observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (P <0.05) ,has statistical significane. Conclusions: Pre-pregnancy BMI, family history of diabetes and advanced pregnancy are the risk factors for gestational diabetes in first trimester women. However, gestational diabetes mellitus is the direct cause of postpartum diabetes. It also shows that pre-pregnancy BMI, family history of diabetes and advanced pregnancy correlate with the incidence of postpartum diabetes Sex.
