Tomatoes on the microbial infection of the epidermis and epidermis of the injury is quite sensitive. Compared with the fruit table, calyx body carries most of the infected microorganisms. The survival of epidermal microorganisms in tomato stored under modified atmosphere was studied by trans-1-epoxyaldehyde treatment. The tomatoes were impregnated with 10-60 in 13 millimoles of trans-cinnamic aldehyde solution
