2012年11月25日,以“在全球范围内提升传统音乐的保护意识和推进人类音乐文明的多元化发展”为宗旨而设立的世界性奖项“太极传统音乐奖”首届颁奖盛典在京隆重举行,中央电视台进行了现场直播。河北省固安县屈家营村“音乐会”的林中树就是该奖项四位获奖者之一(其它三位分别是西方民族音乐学的学科奠基人之一布鲁诺·内特尔、印度著名西塔尔琴大师拉维香卡、青春版《牡丹亭》主持制作人白先勇,其中拉维香卡获奖后不久即于2012年12月12日去世)。
On November 25, 2012, the award ceremony of “Taiji Traditional Music Awards” was held for the purpose of “promoting the protection awareness of traditional music and promoting the diversified development of human music civilization on a global scale.” Held in Beijing, China Central Television conducted a live broadcast.
