To explore the effect of lead on children’s nervous system, this study firstly used lead to lead in children in China as the indicator of lead load in children and IQ (IQ) in the Wechsler Preschool Children’s Intelligence Scale (WPPSI-R) As an indicator of mental developmental effects, the relationship between dental lead and IQ in preschool children was studied, and other confounding factors that may affect IQ were surveyed. The results showed that tooth lead (2.00 ~ 17.21μg / kg) was significantly and negatively correlated with maze, math, wood block pattern, total IQ and language IQ in the simple test (P <0.05 ), While there was no significant correlation with IQ, common sense and other items (P> 0.05). In the multivariate analysis, it was found that this negative effect of lead was weakened to an insignificant level (P> 0.05) after introducing confounding factors such as mother’s education level, father’s education level, father’s occupation, mother’s childbearing age and parents’
