There are at least two types of T helper cells involved in the immunomodulatory mechanism. Th_1 cells dominate the cellular immune response, while Th 2 cells mainly regulate the humoral immune response. In human normal immune response, Th1 and Th2 have the function of mutual regulation. If the imbalance between these cell subsets is likely to lead to disease. Glucocorticoids have a selective effect on the balance between Th 1 and Th 2. During the stimulation of CD_4 ~ + T cells that have been exposed to antigen again, adding glucocorticoids will stimulate the production of IL-4 and IL-10 and inhibit the production of IL-5 and IFNα. Our aim is to investigate whether glucocorticoids exert different regulatory effects on IL-10 and IL-12 production.
