A class of electrohydraulic position control system is discussed, which consists of a small flow valve with continuously adjustable flow and a large flow valve with switch. The stability conditions and position control performance are analyzed. The parallel system of proportional valve and on-off valve is taken as an example to show that the system is low cost and avoids using expensive high-flow electro-hydraulic servo valve. It is especially suitable for those who need fast Positioning, positioning accuracy, and work only in a small area need to adjust the electro-hydraulic position control system.
