As we all know, nuclear power ships have emerged as the science and technology are booming. This made me whim: Since there are nuclear-powered boats, why can’t we have nuclear-powered cars? The use of nuclear energy can reduce energy consumption, and it takes only one year or maybe a few years to replace fuel once, compared with ordinary cars. Fuel consumption can be too great. The use of nuclear energy can also reduce the pollution of automobile exhaust gas to the environment. Gasoline combustion emits many harmful gases, and nuclear energy is used to utilize the principle of nuclear reactors. Vapors are used to propel generators, and electric vehicles are used to drive cars forward so that no toxic gases are emitted. Moreover, the energy released by nuclear fission is larger. The energy emitted by two or three small reactors is enough to match the energy generated by the combustion of gasoline. Therefore, compared with gasoline-powered vehicles, the speed of nuclear vehicles is not inferior to that of gasoline-powered vehicles.
