Open Education Experimental Institute of Guangdong Radio & TV University was established in 1999. It is directly based on the school-running entity of Guangdong Provincial Radio & TV University. It is the foundation and window of the open education research and experiment in Guangdong Radio & TV University. It is an experimental base for accumulating experience in running schools for establishing open universities and implementing modern distance education. It is also the experimental field for teaching reform.
