我省高产小麦从亩产600—800斤到亩产800—1000斤,经历了近十年的时间.到七十年代初期,对这一产量水平,理论上有了新的认识,栽培管理技术方面也有了新的进展.其主要特点是,在土壤肥力和施肥水平较高的情况下,减少播量,适期早播,培育壮苗,依靠分蘖成穗,尽量提高成穗率,适当增大茎生叶面积.这样既改善了株行间的光照条件,又利于达到预期穗数和提高穗粒重的目的.伴随各地高产地块的出现,我院实习农场于1970年开始出现亩产千斤的地块,到1972年全场小麦过千斤,1975年平均亩产达到1067.8斤,此后小麦产量一直徘徊不前(表1).从表列九年的产量构成因素看,亩穗数和穗粒数都较易于达到预期的指标,表现在亩粒数上较为稳定,多集中在1400万—1550万粒左右.千粒重在不同年份变化幅度很大,随着粒重的降低,产量也相应下降.看
