In 1985, the Japanese government will hold a half-year science-themed “Universal Exposition” in Tsukuba Science City, which is the first time in a hundred years of international exposition history. Although the previous thematic exhibitions also featured products and technologies, they all focused on other topics. The first international fair in modern history - the London Expo was held in 1851. Except for the large-scale marine steam engine at this exposition, even dentures, prostheses and bursts of pistols are “honored” to occupy a place where we can see the level of science and technology at that time. Two years later, New York also held a World Expo. It is organized by the success of the former, but at a smaller scale. However, the fair for the first time exhibited an indispensable ascension in high-rise building tools - elevators. Through this fair, the United States has stepped up its cultural exchange with Europe. Then, France also held an international fair in 1855.
