在中国整体汽车市场日益成熟,发展渐趋平稳的大背景下,西部市场必将成为众多汽车厂家竞相争夺的又一潜力市场。市场概况所谓中西部地区,指国家西部大开发战略界定的西部12个省份及自治区,包括湖南、河南、湖北、云南、陕西、四川、宁夏、贵州、新疆、青海、西藏、甘肃,以及重庆直辖市,中西部地区土地面积681万平方公里,占全国总面积的71%,但中西部地区只占中国不到1/3的人口,地广人稀,基础设施落后,人民生活水平比较低,经济发展滞后,和东部相比呈现明显梯度性。

Market Overview The so-called central and western regions refer to the 12 western provinces and autonomous regions in western China, including Hunan, Henan, Hubei, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Ningxia, Guizhou, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Tibet and Gansu, as well as Chongqing Municipality . The central and western regions have a land area of 6.81 million square kilometers, accounting for 71% of the total area of the country. However, the central and western regions occupy only less than one third of China’s population. They are sparsely populated, with poor infrastructure facilities and low living standards. The development lags behind and shows obvious gradient compared with the eastern part.
