素质教育是在80年代中期针对基础教育阶段存在的片面追求升学率的突出弊端而提出的,其对立面就是“应试教育”,而职业教育亦在此时兴起和发展,较多人误认为职业教育就是素质教育的一部分,因而在职业教育内部对素质教育存在着模糊的片面的认识,甚至是错误的认识。素质教育普教论、职业学校“应试教育”熄灭论、素质教育技能训练替代论就是其中三个较为普遍和典型的错误观点,值得引起关注和深思。
