最近几年来,上海分社可以說一直是在一条坎坷的道路上摸索着。在分社领导崗位上,我們經历了许多大的变化,也克服了重重的困难,由于我們本身水平低,工作方法不对头,再加上缺乏經验,致使分社工作在很長一个时期沒有走上軌道去,我們也曾多次檢查过领导工作,但每次檢查的內容,大多偏重于领导者的思想意識和作風問題,很少研究过领导思想和领导方法。因此,分社领导究竟应該如何工作?领导人上主要抓些什么?怎样才能發挥记者的积極性,做到上下团結,工作带勁?这一系列的重要問題,都没有得到很好的解决。
