目前大多农村中学英语教学有许多不尽如人意的地方,如教师觉得难教,学生觉得难学,师生费时多,收效低;英语教学中的素质教育功能无法得到很好的贯彻,等等。作为农村中学的英语教师,笔者对学生进行了一些调查,基本情况如下:①95%的学生认为学习英语的目的是为了满足家长和老师的愿望以及升学的需要;②51%的学生能根据音标掌握单词的读音,34%的学生记忆单词是他们学习英语很大的障碍;③能坚持每天练习听力的学生几乎没有,训练听力只是靠老师上课时播放的有限的听力材料;④偶
At present, most English teaching in rural middle schools has many unsatisfactory places. For example, teachers find it hard to teach. Students find it hard to learn. Teachers and students spend time and earn low profits. The quality education in English teaching can not be implemented well. . As an English teacher in rural middle schools, the author conducted some surveys on students.
