一部中国绘画史在某种程度上说即是佛教绘画艺术的发展变迁史。敦煌的壁画艺术其主要表现题材来源于佛教绘画,而中国的佛教绘画艺术又主要表现在石窟寺及墓室和寺庙道观之中。不仅石窟寺艺术与墓室壁画和寺庙道观壁画之间有紧密的联系,而且能从其二者身上看出它们对敦煌壁画之影响,从而成为其技法渊源的另一支脉。我们不妨从这两方面做一下深入考察,进一步探索敦煌壁画与墓室壁画和寺观壁画的关系。
To a certain extent, the history of a Chinese painting is the history of the development of Buddhist art. The main theme of mural painting in Dunhuang comes from Buddhist painting, while the art of Buddhist painting in China is mainly manifested in the cave temple, tomb room and temple Taoism. Not only is there a close connection between cave temple art and the tomb murals and temple Taoist murals, but also their influence on the Dunhuang murals can be seen from both of them, thus becoming another source of their technique origins. We may wish to do an in-depth investigation from these two aspects to further explore the relationship between Dunhuang murals and tomb murals and temple murals.
