废名小说《桃园》意蕴悠远,稍嫌晦涩,小说无论在思想内涵还是在艺术呈现上颇耐解读,这与作家在艺术创造上自觉地对“陌生化”创造手法的选取有关。《桃园》陌生化创造手法主要体现为:叙述手法的陌生化——具体体现为叙述过程中利用叙述视角的变化对叙述信息的间接扣留来实现;语言运用的陌生化——具体体现为语言构造的诗化追求以及大量隐喻、象征的运用。
