今年春天,国内贸易部何济海副部长一行赴美国考察了连锁商业。在美国期间,我们考察了美国第一、第二、第四大连锁贸易公司,即沃玛特(WAL—MART)、科玛待(KMART)、本尼(PENNY),考察了与7/11齐名的AM/PM。并走访了与连锁商业发展关联密切的美国最大的家禽生产加工厂泰森食品公司(TYSONFOODS)和占美国公路运输量1个百分点的韩特运输公司(HUNT)。 一、美国商界人士向中国投资的积极性很高,但苦于各种原因,特别是对中国投资的政策环境了解不多,而不敢迅速、大步地迈出步子。我们应当进一步解放思想,创造条件,抓住机遇,以便更好地引进美国商界的资金、技术和管理经验。
This spring, Deputy Minister He Jihai of the Ministry of Internal Trade went to the United States to inspect the chain business. During the United States, we examined the first, second, and fourth-largest chain trading companies in the United States: WAL-MART, KMART, and PENNY. They examined the relationship with 7/11. It also visited TYSON Foods, the largest poultry processing factory in the United States, which is closely associated with the development of chain stores, and Hante Transportation Co., Ltd. (HUNT), which accounts for one percentage point of the US road transport volume. First, the enthusiasm of the U.S. business people to invest in China is high, but they suffer from various reasons, especially their understanding of the policy environment for investment in China. They do not dare to take quick and big steps. We should further emancipate our minds, create conditions, and seize opportunities so as to better introduce the U.S. business community’s capital, technology, and management experience.
