伍蠡甫(1900—1992)。原籍广东新会(现属广东省江门市),生于上海.少时就读于汇文附小、圣约翰附中,1923年毕业于私立复旦大学文科,获学士学位,1936年远渡英伦,入伦敦大学深造;曾任复旦大学文学院院长、复旦大学外文系英美文学专业博士研究生导师:作为著名美学家,伍蠡甫先生开西方文论系统研究之先河。在中西美术比较研究方面用功尤深,曾主编《西方文论选》.撰写《欧洲文论简史》(与翁义钦合著),出版了《谈艺录》、《中国画论研究》、《伍蠡甫艺术美学文集》、《名家画论》、《山水与美学》等专著。而在美学家的盛名之下.伍蠡甫还有着另一重身 Wu Mi Fu (1900-1992). Originally from Guangdong Xinhui (now Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province), was born in Shanghai. He spent time studying in Huifen Elementary School and St. John’s High School. He graduated from the private Fudan University in 1923 with a bachelor’s degree, went to England in 1936, Fudan University, former Dean of Fudan University, Fudan University Department of English and American Literature Professional doctoral tutor: As a well-known aesthetics, Mr. Wu Yongfu open Western literary theory system research precedent.
