作品在创作技巧方面独具匠心,有奇妙之趣。主干造型不拘泥于岭南盆景截干的创作手法,而采用苏扬流派牵拉缚扎的技巧,利用松树刚柔并济的特点,从树干幼小的时候便逐步牵拉成大回旋的音符形态,表现出动感神韵。但在枝梢创作方面,并没有采用层叠分明、云片状的创作模式,而是用了岭南蓄枝的技巧,使得树冠枝明梢亮。作品的创作,可谓是南北结合,新奇有趣。
