  Our girl Selena has worked with The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) since she was 17. They work in 190 countries to save and improve children’s lives by providing health care, clean water, food, education, and emergency relief[紧急救援].
  She said: “When I first started with the organization, 24,000 children died every day of causes we can prevent, and that number has now been reduced to 19,000. It’s amazing to see the progress[进步] and I’m thrilled[激动] to help bring awareness[意识] to UNICEF’s lifesaving work.”

  Victoria joined the campaign in 2011, visited one of their programs in Guatemala, and raised nearly $20,000 for Girl Up this year through her music.

  Pencils of Promise builds schools in developing countries so children have access to a better education. The Biebs has teamed up with this awesome[令人敬畏的] organization for the past two years for their annual[一年一次的] Schools4All campaign, which raises money to build schools in Ghana, Guatemala, Laos, and Nicaragua.
  In the first year alone, with Justin’s help, the campaign raised more than $300,000! That’s pretty major[较多的].

Chloe became a spokesperson for the campaign this year, and hosted the organization’s annual Teens for Jeans drive in California.   “I think giving back is so important because I come from a very privileged[有特别恩典的] background where a pair of jeans is such a simple thing in everyday life that you don’t even think about. You just put them on in the morning and you go out, where as some kids don’t ever have any jeans to put on.”
