《玉篇》自成书至宋代重修,一直在被增补删订,各时代具体修订情况如何,至今仍不明朗。后晋释可洪所著大型佛经音义书《可洪音义》中称引了很多《玉篇》的内容,将它与现存《玉篇》各种版本进行比勘,可以确知其差异,对于研究《玉篇》的传承流布史有重要意义。不仅如此,释可洪所引《玉篇》的某些字形、注音或释义,传世其它字韵书中均未收录,在语言文字学研究方面也有着弥足珍贵的价值。 “Jade articles” since the book to the rebuilt of the Song Dynasty, has been added to delete the revised, the specific revision of the times how, is still uncertain.
