中国的许多学校虽然想开展小班化教学以提高教学效果及给予每个学生个体足够的关注,但因为学生数量众多,一个班只有20人甚至30人上课还是力所不能及。因此,教育部门要求抓45分钟的课堂效率并且尽可能地以学生为本,注重每个学生的人格和学习水平的发展,新课程改革就是在这样一个背景下被提出并被实施的,而生命化课堂也渐渐成为许多学校参与研究的课题。
