The paper introduces the process of disassembling and inspecting the broken axle of TA250-3000kW air compressor imported from Japan. The cause of the accident, its development and the process of broken shaft are analyzed. Finally, the domestic compressor repair process and the transformation of the operation of this air compressor are introduced in detail.
