高中语文第四册《庄暴见孟子》中有几处涉及到“今”字:“今王鼓乐于此……”;“今王田猎于此……”;“今王与民同乐,则王矣”。对于这几个“今”字,人们在理解上向来有分歧,而课本上的注释却未作明确解释。所以,不少教师在教学中往往径取“今”的本义:“现在”。这样解释,从行文看似乎并无不顺,但却经不住仔细推敲。“现在”是此刻、目前之意。如果把上引几处的“今”字译为“现在”,则就肯定了说的是发生在此时此刻的事,但《庄暴见孟子》是孟子通过设喻的方法,从“齐王好乐”这个基点出发因势利导,循循善诱地
