Since the late 1970s, Western visual arts have seen a new form that is quite different from the vigorous development of modernist art for more than half a century. This artistic tendency has multiple and intrinsic links with the popular postmodernist theories of the 1980s , Known as postmodern art. In this issue of International Perspective, the postmodern banter presents a detailed analysis of the playful tendencies in postmodern art and the performance in different artistic creations such as architecture and painting. Zafran is a contemporary French artist who is dedicated to exploring the field of traditional painting. He creates a large number of elegant and timeless paintings on the ordinary and special theme of the staircase. Here, for the first time, Mr. XiaoSheng introduced this unique artist and his works to us. For a long time, the meaning of contemporary art is almost equivalent to that of western contemporary art. Modern and contemporary art creation outside Europe and the United States has long been excluded and ignored by Western art research, exhibitions and auctions. Now the situation has changed a lot. Recent discoveries and surprises in North American museums and research institutions set off a craze for collecting, displaying and studying Latin American art. This issue of “Re-understanding of Latin American Art” introduces many of these situations.
