《國朝漢學師承記》是瞭解清代學術史的必讀書,但却被公認為具有“門戶之見”。但是,這一批評得以成立的前提是江藩的寫作定位是一部客觀、全面的清代學術史。實際上,由于江藩本人終身不第、時乖運蹇,因此在學術史之中融入了對漢學家群體之命運的書寫與反思,使《漢學師承記》兼有了傳記文學的屬性。江藩不自覺地將學術與學人置于一個關係語境當中:學術作為隱藏在學人人生軌迹背後的神秘力量,不但塑造著學人的一生,而且塑造著學人對生活的反思。
“Han Dynasty Han scholar” is a must-read book to understand the academic history of the Qing Dynasty, but it is generally recognized as “the portal of opinion.” However, the premise of this criticism is that Jiang Fan’s writing position is an objective and comprehensive academic history of the Qing Dynasty. In fact, since Jiang Fan himself was not a lifelong, lucky boy, his writing and reflection on the fate of Chinese sinologists have been incorporated into the academic history, making the book of Han Scholars bearing the attributes of biographical literature. Jiang Fan unconsciously placed academic and scholars in a relational context: as a mysterious force hidden behind the trajectory of scholars, academics not only shaped the life of scholars but also shaped the reflection of life by scholars.
