给音标起外号,大家也许闻所未闻吧。听,音标课上,我们的英语杨老师正在教我们音标[e]呢。他故作玄虚地说:“其实[e]有一个外号叫‘破鸡蛋’……”话还没说完,同学们就立刻哄堂大笑起来。杨老师看到我们一张张笑歪了的脸,也不由自主地跟着我们笑起来。他一边笑一边给我们解释:“我之所以叫它破鸡蛋,是因为它被一根筷子插了进去,有了缺口,可是里面还留着半截筷子,是不是很像一个破鸡蛋呢?鸡蛋的英语又是egg,开头的音标就是[e]。”我自言自语地说:“[e]是一个破鸡蛋,破鸡蛋就是[e],真是太好笑了。”
