螺旋选矿机是一种用来在水中按照比重和部分按照形状的不同分选中、細粒级物料的选矿設备。其結构见图1。流槽工作面为螺旋形,槽身用汽車輪胎或鑄铁等材料制成,槽底面平坦不设敷物,每間隔一定距离处有一連續截取精矿(或中矿)的排矿装置(截取器)。固体含量約10~30%的矿浆自槽的上部給入,分离产品,重砂从槽底截取器口排出,輕矿物則随液流向下自流槽尾端排出。
