The 137E data from 1972 to 1988 are analyzed. The results show that the northern equatorial and Kuroshio currents, the Kuroshio and Kuroshio currents, the northern equatorial currents and tropical waters, the Kuroshio current, the Kuroshio current and the subtropical waters all have 0.01 Above the significant level related. The Kuroshio is controlled by both the large-scale ocean circulation in the western Pacific and by the changes in the Great Warm Vortex. The decrease rate of the North Equatorial Flow reflects the convergence of the western part of the subtropical circulation. The change of the North Equatorial Flow is the main reason that causes the migration of the Great Southern Warm Vortex and the path of the Kuroshio in southern Japan.
