在中国现当代美术史中,王琦先生的贡献是多方面的:作为一位版画大家,其创作的多幅版画作品已成为版画史上的经典;作为著名的美术理论家,其史论研究成果对几代人都或多或少产生过影响;在版画教育、主编美术期刊工作中,他倾注了大量精力,取得了突出的业绩;而作为一位美术活动的组织领导者,他为助推中国新兴木刻运动乃至当代美术的发展都作出了杰出的贡献。本文以时间为经,具体作品为纬,系统分析了王琦在抗战时期、新中国成立以来以及改革开放新时期三个时间段中的版画创作成就和美术理论研究成果。
In the history of Chinese contemporary art, Mr. Wang Qi’s contribution is multifaceted: as a printmaker, his multiple printmaking works have become a classic in the history of printmaking. As a famous art theorist, his historical research results Influenced generations to a greater or lesser degree; he devoted a great deal of energy and achieved outstanding results in print education and editor-in-chief of art journals; and as an organization leader in fine arts activities, he helped boost China’s emerging woodcut movement and even the development of contemporary art have made outstanding contributions. This paper takes time as the basis and the specific works as weft, systematically analyzes Wang Qi’s achievements in printmaking and the achievements of art theory in the three time periods of Anti-Japanese War, New China and the new period of reform and opening up.
