1956年上学期,省防疫站卫生科在我校进行了一系列的调查。只就学生体格检查一项来说,当时患沙眼的有516人,占全校学生总数91.9%;患蛔虫病的526人,占总数93.7%;患龋齿的209人,占总数32.2%。几乎没有一个学生是完全健康的。情况的严重引起了我们高度的重视。造成学生健康不良的原因虽然很多,但最主要的原因是学校没有很好地向学生进行健康卫生教育,培养他们的卫生习惯。因此,我们的工作便从这里着手。首先我们组织全校教师学习了有关文件,再结合当时学生健康的不良情况进行了讨论。使老师们明确了健康卫生教育在贯徹全面发展
In the last semester of 1956, the Department of Health of the Provincial Epidemic Prevention Station conducted a series of investigations at our school. In terms of student physical examination alone, there were 516 people suffering from trachoma, accounting for 91.9% of the total number of students; 526 people suffering from tsutsugamushi disease accounted for 93.7% of the total; 209 people suffering from dental caries, accounting for 32.2% of the total.
