Among the young Hegelians, Lugar’s ideological differences with other members are mainly reflected on three issues: the relationship between religious criticism and political criticism, the criticism of Hegel’s purely theoretical position and the democratic political stand. Thus Lugar can not simply be equated with those German ideologists in the Marxist ideological critique.
