The world’s first self-contained drifting office cabin set sail recently at the Beully River Estuary in South England. The “Exxon Egg” was co-constructed by a group of innovative artists, engineers and architects - who started two years ago to make the idea a reality. The lucky winner staying at this rafting office is artist Stephen Turner. In the following year, he plans to study marine life in the tidal ditch in this office. In addition to Turner, two others are also major players in the construction of the workforce - the shipbuilder Paul Baker and shipbuilding technician Stephen Payne. The Exxon egg is 20 feet (about 6.10 meters) long and 9 feet wide (about 2.74 meters) and consists mainly of cold
