设计理念:义务教育阶段的英语课程具有工具性与人文性双重性质。就工具性而言,英语课程承担着培养学生基本英语素养和发展学生思维能力的任务。就人文性而言,英语课程承担着提高学生综合人文素养的任务,即学生通过英语课程,能够形成良好的品格和正确的人生观与价值观。
教学内容:选自上海教育出版社《牛津英语》三年级起始六年级上册 Module 4 <<The natural world>> Unit12 The earth 第一课时(共计三课时)
学情与教材分析:本课授课学生为自一年级开始学习英语的应届六年级学生。每周课时为两课时。学习时间略显不足。
本课教材为沪版新标准《牛津英语》三年级起始六年级上册 Module 4 <<The natural world>> Unit12 The earth 这一教材并不是本地区在使用的教材,对于学生们来说是新鲜也是陌生的。所以本课选取的是第一课时内容。目标词汇为the Earth、ocean、forest、land、part、rubbish 功能语句为We should stop doing...
教学目标:
1.知识与技能:Key patterns:We should stop cutting down so many trees. Key words:Earth、part、forest、land、ocean、rubbish
Pronunciation: th、o、ar、u
運用句型与词汇谈论地球表面的组成部分、颜色及所发生的变化。
2.过程与方法:通过Free talk、观察图片,小组讨论、自主阅读、课堂练习等课堂活动,引导学生自主思考,从而达到自主学习能力的养成。
通过完成课后作业,培养学生预习及自主阅读的能力,并进一步延伸课堂,体现语言教学的人文情怀。
3.情感目标:培养学生英语思维的同时,意识到保护地球的重要意义。
教学重点:学生对文本的理解及目标语句的运用。
教学难点:学生对目标语句的运用。

Step1. Greetings
Say hello to the students and introduce myself.
Step2. Presentation
1. Teach the new word --- earth、part
T:I’m from Linfen. It is a city in the south of ShanXi. I’m from ShanXi. I’m from China. I’m from the Earth.
[设计意图:通过谈话引出新单词,课件演示并板书,同时复习th字母组合的发音。]
T: What can you see on the Earth?
There are different colours. Some parts are green. Some parts are brown. Some parts are blue.
[设计意图:课件演示part ,引导学生自主拼读,举例:park、star...]
2. Teach the new word---- land、ocean、forest
T:What are the green \brown\blue parts?
They are forests\land\oceans.
[设计意图:课件演示并跟读,拓展四大洋及亚马逊雨林的知识。]
3.Compare the Earth in 1978 with in 2012.
T:The Earth gives us land、oceans and forests. So we can see the Earth is green and blue. But it was beautiful and clean in the past. What about now?
What differences can you see? How about the colours?
[设计意图:课件演示,对比地球图片,板书beautiful ,clean]
4.Teach the new word --- rubbish
What happened to the Earth? Look,what is it ?
Because of throwing rubbish into rivers\using plastic bags\cutting down so many trees,the earth is not clean and beautiful. Now it is dirty.
[设计意图:课件演示,教学新词及句型。]
5. Teach the new pattern---- we should stop doing...
T:Do you feel happy or sad?
What should we do ?
We should say a word ----- Stop!
[设计意图:课件凸现Stop ,同时板书句型 We should stop doing...]
6. Get the students to read the text by themselves.
T:Please read the text and find out “We should stop doing...”
[设计意图:学生自主阅读课文,找出关键语句,学生诵读时板书]
Step3. Consolidation
1. Listen to the text and fill in the boxes in the book.(图略)
2. Talk about with the sentences in the text.
3. Role play. Read the text in roles.
[设计意图:听录音跟读课文,完成填充练习。小组活动,运用课文内句型。]
