河南栾川麦地沟铅锌矿位于豫西多金属成矿带,矿体产出形态及规模严格受含矿断裂构造控制,两者产状完全吻合,多呈近东西向或北东向,形态多为板状、似板状及透镜体状,倾角相对较陡。矿石结构以交代结构、自形-它形晶粒结构及鳞片粒状变晶结构为主,矿石构造多为块状、浸染状、条带状构造,矿石自然类型为硫化矿,主要矿物成分包括方铅矿、闪锌矿、黄铁矿、石英、钾长石、方解石、绢云母、绿泥石等;有用成分以铅锌为主,伴生Ag、Au等,具有综合利用价值。硅化、绢云母化、碳酸盐化等围岩蚀变与成矿关系密切。
