本文提出的FNT-WFTA复合法数字卷积运算适用于雷达脉冲压缩及其它卷积器或相关器。这种方法在输入动态范围与一般FNT基本相同的情况下,可使卷积长度和输出峰值增大为FNT的N_2倍(N_2为WFTA的长度),而其乘法次数分别只及FFT和WFTA的40%和60%左右。在所举的未加权的脉冲压缩例子中,当运算字长相同时,复合法的输出主瓣(峰值)减小不大于8×10~(-4),最大旁瓣增加不大于0.1dB。
The proposed FNT-WFTA complex method digital convolution operation is suitable for radar pulse compression and other convolvers or correlators. This method can increase the convolution length and output peak to N_2 times of FNT (N_2 is the length of WFTA) when the input dynamic range is basically the same as that of general FNT, and the multiplication times are only for FFT and WFTA 40% and 60%. In the unweighted pulse compression example presented, the output mainlobe (peak) decreases by no more than 8 × 10 ~ (-4) and the maximum sidelobe increases by no more than 0.1dB when the operands are the same.
