我省钩端螺旋体病(下称钩体病)的流行高峰一般在7～8月份,而海南岛几乎每年还在10～12月份发生第二个流行次峰。为弄清其原因,省、地、自治州和县组成工作组,于1977年10月22日～11月29日在近两年来曾发生过第二个流行次峰的白沙县进行了调查,虽然未遇到钩体病流行,但通过资料收集整理和动物宿主的调查,从而对海南岛10～12月份发生钩体病流行的特点有了初步的认识,并充实了海南地区流行病学资料。现将调查结果报告如下:
