[Objective] To study the correlation between pulse pressure and microalbuminuria and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in type 2 diabetic patients. [Methods] 300 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were monitored for 24h ambulatory blood pressure, 24h mean pulse pressure was calculated and divided into two groups according to the mean pulse pressure of 24 hours. Microalbuminuria and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein were detected and correlated analysis. [Results] The mean pulse pressure, microalbuminuria, and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in the two groups were statistically significant (P <0.05), and correlated with each other. [Conclusions] Mean pulse pressure and microalbuminuria and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in patients with type 2 diabetes are correlated.
