儒家文化作为一种民族心理的深层积淀参与到《水浒传》思维机制的构建和运作当中,表现在文本运思、人物塑造、情节构置等的方方面面。儒家文化是《水浒传》中根本性和基础性的文化因素,是《水浒传》思维架构不可或缺的材质。《水浒传》“春秋笔法”的寓意和“怨刺上政”的写作目的,男女性人物的塑造、定位和水浒英雄满溢的“入世”激情,对儒家重要伦理范畴“仁”、“义”的深刻诠释和拷问,以及“招安”宏愿得偿的结局中所隐含的“知命”与“正名”的无奈和执著等,均体现出儒家文化深刻活跃在《水浒传》思维机制的整体框架、表层摹划到内部肌理、核心质素的各层级中。
