雅思听力考试的难度逐渐加大,这使得我们有必要改变以前从词、句子的层次去理解的习惯,改从听力材料的语篇特点去理解。韩礼德和哈桑的语篇衔接理论在此起着举足轻重的作用。韩礼德和哈桑在《英语语中的衔接》中指出了四种类型的连接方式:添加型连接,转折型连接,因果连接和时间型连接。雅思考试中不管是在第一三部分的对话中,还是在第二四部分的个人叙述中,我们都会听到这些整篇材料衔接的指示词,熟悉它们,抓住它们,我们就能从语篇的角度去理解把握,从而提高我们雅思听力中答题的准确率。
IELTS listening gradually increased the difficulty of examinations, which makes it necessary for us to change the previous habit of understanding from the level of words, sentences, listening materials from the discourse characteristics to understand. Halliday’s discourse cohesion theory and Hassan play an important role here. Halliday and Hassan point out four types of connections in The Engagement in English: Additive, Transitional, Causal, and Temporary. In the IELTS test, we can hear these first three parts of the dialogue, or in the second part four personal narration, we will hear the instructions of the entire material convergence, familiar with them, to seize them, we can from the language Articles to understand the point of view to grasp, so as to improve the accuracy of our answer in the IELTS.
