五年制高职是区别于三年制大专的一种新的教育形式:招收初中毕业生,学制五年,毕业时可获得大专学历。由于生源是初中毕业生,起点较低,本身对英语学习兴趣不高,接受知识的方式也是被动的,英语整体运用能力也较弱等情况,都迫使着教师对教学进行反思,调整教学方式。尽管现在我国全民学习英语热情很高,但是在一些区域或城乡的英语教育上仍存在较大差距,也影响着整体的教学水平。一年级作为衔接初中与高职的关键阶段,培养学生的英语学习兴趣,使其能够产生英语学习的热情,是所有五年制高职老师都希望达到的。
Five-year vocational college is different from the three-year college of a new form of education: to recruit junior high school graduates, school system for five years, graduates can get college education. Because students are junior high school graduates, starting point is low, interest in English learning is not high, the way of receiving knowledge is passive, and the ability of using English as a whole is also weak, forcing teachers to rethink teaching and adjusting teaching methods. Despite the high enthusiasm of all the people in learning English in our country nowadays, there is still a big gap in English education in some regions or urban and rural areas, and the overall teaching level is also affected. The first grade as a key phase linking junior and senior vocational schools to develop students interest in English learning so that it can produce enthusiasm for learning English, all five-year vocational teachers are hoping to achieve.
