Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect of total dentition occlusion on pedicle screw fixation in children. Methods: Fifty-eight children aged 7-12 years old, including 42 males and 16 females, were randomly divided into two groups. The experimental group (30 cases) was fixed with maxillary maxillary mats and the control group (28 cases) Groove technology fixed. The degree of tooth mobility, patient comfort index, gingival index and physician’s clinical operation time before and after 4 weeks of treatment were compared and statistically analyzed. Results: There was no significant difference in curative effect between traumatic teeth after 4 weeks of fixation (P> 0.05). Patients’ comfort index, gingival index and clinical operation time were better than those of arch wire (P <0.05). Conclusion: The total dentition occlusion pad is reliable and comfortable for children with traumatic teeth during mixed dentition. It can save time by stimulating small periodontal ligament.
