媚俗已成为当代消费社会的一种意识形态。大众文化将媚俗倾向演绎得丝毫不爽。文化媚俗倾向的发生有其历史的合理性 ,它是在世俗化语境中由历史的、现实的、文化的多个原因所造成的一个结果。媚俗倾向被精英主义者视为大众文化的“原罪”。在价值论范畴中它是作为一个悖论而存在的 ,其负面性同其积极性一样显著。大众文化的生产者与消费者应对媚俗倾向共担责任。大众社会疏于理性思考而耽于世俗欲望的群体心理好尚为大众文化的媚俗倾向提供了心理学依据 ,同时也证明着媚俗倾向是一种有赖人文精神注入而加以修正的亚文化现象。
Kitsch has become an ideology of contemporary consumer society. Popular culture kitsch tend to interpret the slightest unhappy. The occurrence of cultural kitsch tendency has its historical rationality. It is a result of many historical, realistic and cultural reasons in the secularized context. Kitsch tendencies are seen by elitists as the “original sin” of popular culture. In the category of axiology, it exists as a paradox, and its negativeness is as remarkable as its motivation. Producers and consumers of mass culture share responsibility for kitsch preferences. The mass psychology of the mass society neglecting the rational thinking and indulging the secular desires provides a psychological basis for the vulgar tendency of the popular culture. At the same time, it also proves that kitsch tendency is a subculture relying on the humanistic spirit.
