青年运动的先导性，是我国自五四运动以来青年运动的一个重要特征，在新中国建立以前的历史阶段是这样，在新中国建立以后的历史时期也是这样。青年运动的先导性，表现在一定历史条件下对社会发展所起的超前作用、突破作用和导向作用。
The leading role of the youth movement is an important feature of our country’s youth movement since the May Fourth Movement. This is the case in the history of the founding of New China and the historical period after the founding of New China. The pioneering role of the youth movement is manifested in its advance role, breakthrough effect and guiding role in social development under certain historical conditions.
